Full-time Research Assistant in China Europe International Business School (CEIBS)

 

If you are planning to pursue a PhD degree in business or a career in business consulting, this is a perfect opportunity for you.

 

Responsibilities:

 

The RA is expected to skillfully assist the professor in conducting primary and secondary research projects for either academic and/or pedagogical purposes. Specific job tasks may include, but may not be limited to, the followings:

 

1.      Typing, transcribing and translating materials

2.      Searching, coding, and processing data

3.      Calling external entities (sample companies, data sources, etc) & conducting interviews with the professor

4.      Literature search and summarization

5.      Conducting industry and market research

6.      Assisting in questionnaire design and testing

7.      Depending on qualification, performing basic statistical analyses

 

Requirements

1.      Very good work ethics

2.      Smart and quick learner – only top-5% students in your graduation class need to apply

3.      GREAT English, especially translating English materials into Chinese

4.      Good English writing skill is a big plus

5.      Rich knowledge in Management, Business Administration disciplines (HR, Strategy, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, etc)

6.      Great Chinese writing skills

7.      Familiar with basic research process

8.      Good at cold-calling (can easily get around the receptionist and talk to company managers)

9.      Master degree in Business/Management is the minimum, PhD is preferred. Degree from a good US or European university is a big plus.
