南南学院毕业生代表周荣国尊敬的林毅夫老师，尊敬的姚老师、傅老师、南南学院和国发院的各位老师，
尊敬的张茂于副署长、孙中和院长，
Dear professors, Dear classmates, Ladies and gentlemen,
It is my great honor to say a few words at this commencement.
How time flies!
We still remember the first day at ISSCAD three years ago, when we from different counties gathered here like a big family with the same purpose. We have learned from each other and built bonds of friendship. Today, our dear classmates, some of you are in different countries thousands of miles away, but our hearts are together. We miss you so much!
We still remember all the professors and the lectures you taught us. What’s national development? What’s the role of leaders? What’s regression? What’s science? What’s theory? Today, our dear professors, maybe our dissertations have not reached your expectation, but we have tried out best and we have learned a lot. Without your guidance and help, we would never be able to stand here. Thank you very much!
We still remember the field trips to different places in China, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiaogang village in Anhui. Behind the successful story of China’s development, there are millions of diligent officials. Today, some of them from China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) and Ministry of Commerce are here. Thank you very much for your support to ISSCAD and to this program!
We still remember all the days and nights when we studied round the clock at home and office. In the past three years, we had no time with you, our parents, our families, and our friends, but you have always supported us, encouraged us, and loved us. Without your love, we cannot come such a long way and stand here today! Thank you, we love you so much!
Dear classmates, ladies and gentlemen,
We are very lucky as we had the opportunity to study at ISSCAD of Peking University.
We are very lucky to study and work at the same time, although it was really a very challenging process. But as the saying goes: No pains, no gains. Where there is a will, there is a way!
During the past three years, we have strengthened our belief, expended our thinking, and learned the methodology.
Today, we will graduate. But graduation is not the end of study, instead, it’s a new start of a long learning journey.
During the past three years, we worked very hard. Tomorrow, we must work harder!
We must work harder for our country, to create more jobs, to facilitate economic growth, to improve people’s wellbeing.
We must work harder for the next generation, to make the world more prosperous, more secure, more democratic, and more beautiful.
We must work harder for south-south cooperation and development, to help each other, support each other, to make sure the people of developing countries will enjoy a better life in the future, and to build a community of shared future for mankind!

Dear professors, Dear classmates, Ladies and gentlemen,
