南南合作与发展学院教研系列人员招聘启事

北京大学南南合作与发展学院（简称南南学院）是国家主席习近平在2015年9月26日在联合国总部出席联合国成立70周年系列活动并主持南南合作圆桌会议时宣布设立的。南南学院面向发展中国家的政府官员、学术机构、新闻媒体、非政府组织等中层以上管理或研究人员，提供国家发展学历学位教育及短期研修项目。南南学院的宗旨是打造最具潜力的发展中国家高端人才培养基地、全球最具吸引力的国家发展研究机构、最具活力的全球治理的交流平台，与其他发展中国家分享国家发展的知识和理念，加强国际合作，促进公平、包容、可持续发展。南南学院自2016年成立以来已招收了来自60多个发展中国家的300多名学员。
南南学院现向社会公开招聘多位多领域、不同层次的教学职位。该职位要求拥有经济学、政治学或公共政策等社会学科领域博士学位；能够承担南南学院硕士和博士项目8个学分（相当于两门课程，其中至少一门核心课）工作量的教学，并指导学生论文，教学语言为英语；具备较强的研究能力，能够开展区域国别和可持续发展相关议题的研究；特别欢迎有经验的教研人员申请。学院会根据被录取者的资格和经历提供富有竞争力的薪水和待遇。

The Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development (ISSCAD) was initiated and announced by Chinese President XI Jinping during the High-Level Roundtable on South-South Cooperation at the 70th Anniversary Celebration of the United Nations in New York on September 26, 2015. The Institute provides both degree education and non-degree executive training programs for middle and senior level officials, as well as managers and researchers from government, academia, the media, NGOs and other organizations in developing countries. Combining local knowledge with global vision, the Institute is committed to education of leaders for developing countries, excellence in national development research, and dynamic exchange platform for global cooperation. The Institute is devoted to promoting equitable, inclusive and sustainable growth by sharing knowledge and experience on matters of public leadership and national development, with developing and especially the least developed countries. Since its establishment in 2016, ISSCAD has recruited more than 300 students from over 60 developing countries.
The Institute is now offering several tenure-track positions at all levels in all fields, particularly in development economics and public economics. Experienced candidates are preferably welcome. Teaching will be conducted in English at graduate levels. All vacancies require a Ph.D. in social sciences, preferably in economics, political science or public policy. A normal teaching load of 8 credits per year (equivalent of two courses, one of which should be compulsory at least) is required. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with respective qualifications and experiences.
Interested and qualified applicants should submit their Curriculum Vitae, representative papers/publications and three letters of reference online.
All applications shall be received by December 10, 2021. Candidate interviews will be conducted online in early January 2021.
