Title：Algorithm for smart regulation in the electricity market
Abstract: Electricity system is the earliest smart economy. From decades ago, the algorithms have played dominant roles in the market-equilibrium formulation, abnormal-strategy detections, and mechanism designs for market-power regulations or demand-side management. In the last decade, the algorithm-tech for smart grid has fast developed associated with the penetration of new tech and data booming. Those developments refresh our understanding about the electricity system, reshuffle the market-equilibrium balancing, and redefine the concept of appropriate regulation.
主讲人简介：于洋，清华大学交叉信息研究院助理教授，在斯坦福大学土木与环境工程系取得博士学位。研究领域主要包括算法经济的产业组织分析和政府管制技术、数据驱动的计算环境和生态管理技术等。他关于风电光伏边际成本结构和价格操纵能力的研究获得美国能源经济学会授予2015年“丹尼斯·欧柏林年度学生论文最高奖”；关于风电光伏不确定性与金融输电权冲突造成市场失灵的研究被国际能源经济学会2015年“国际能源经济学会年会学生论文最高奖”。他另一项关于电力市场的经济制度会严重削弱新能源减排能力的研究也获得了美中绿色能源峰会2016年最高论文奖。其他的一些研究成果发表在Nature Sustainability， ES&T，和IEEE Trans Smart Grid等刊物上。
