以下为公司TAP招聘内容的介绍:

The Associates Program (TAP) is a unique opportunity for exceptional, well-rounded individuals, of any major, to participate in a global rotational program with The Capital Group Companies. TAP is a small and unique global rotational program. It consists of approximately six four-month on-the-job assignments that emphasize and expose associates to all aspects of our business. Participants receive broad exposure to people and processes in multiple areas of our business assisting them in making the right decision about their career after TAP. Additionally, there is an optional 7th rotation where participants can work at a non-profit organization.

There is no single "ideal" background for candidates, and they have studied a variety of academic disciplines at leading universities all over the world. Beyond the common denominators of academic excellence, creativity, and motivation, we look for mature, well-rounded individuals whose diverse educational, work or cultural experiences have demonstrated initiative and success. We look to all these factors as indicators of participants who will make a contribution in a friendly, cooperative, and largely self-guided environment.

Assignments are not pre-determined at the onset of the program, and there is no prescribed route for TAP associates to take through the company. In some assignments TAP associates will work as members of teams, while in other assignments they may work independently with little structured supervision. In all cases, though, TAP associates are able to call on company resources, managers and mentors, and the TAP Manager along with their fellow TAP associates. There are numerous opportunities to make real and valued contributions in specific areas; to obtain exposure to Capital’s multi-facetted operations and the relationships among different parts of the organization; and to work with and learn from our most valued assets – our experienced associates.

Assignments can be as varied as:
• Investment Research - Looking at stocks, bonds and occasionally other securities in different sectors and industries worldwide, analyzing and understanding them, and making associated recommendations. TAP associates can also learn about our unique approach to portfolio management through assignments in departments including investment administration and compliance, trading, statistics and macroeconomics;

• Marketing and Sales Support - Both with institutional clients and in the retail or mutual fund, business. TAP participants can learn more about our investment products and services and how they are marketed around the world. Projects in this area have included: involvement in the team effort to launch a new mutual fund; conducting research to inform decisions regarding entry into new business areas; and providing accurate and timely marketing and communication materials to our clients;

• Shareholder Services - Capital’s mutual fund shareholders - there are over 20 million - constitute a multitude of different people living across the globe, all with different needs, which need to be managed. In our service and distribution areas, a TAP assignment introduces participants to our state-of-the-art processes and systems for providing consistently superior service to brokers, financial planners and, most fundamentally, our fund shareholders. It is also an opportunity to experience our team-centered approach to operations.

Several other groups are often involved:
• Business Development - Investment management is a growing business across different regions. As we continue to assess business opportunities, TAP associates have helped and will continue to help the growth of our businesses globally.

• Human Resources - Recruiting and assessing candidates, working with associates to assist them in achieving their careers goals. TAP associates will participate and learn what motivates and differentiates candidates and associates: our people and our culture are integral to Capital and its continued global success.

• Information Technology - Investment management largely involves and relies on information and systems. Understanding information flows and managing large volumes of complex data to ensure informed decisions are made across all business units is vital. TAP associates need not have technical expertise in order to be analytical and to add value in IT rotations.

TAP provides classroom-style learning sessions in addition to on-the-job learning. Graduate-level accounting, corporate finance, and capital markets courses are offered during the first year of TAP to help provide a foundation in our core business. These courses culminate in a presentation which allows TAP associates to demonstrate some of the skills that they have learned and developed through their classes.

LOCATION OF EMPLOYMENT
TAP associates are based in Southern California (Los Angeles and Orange Counties). The global nature of our business, however, allows for not only various TAP assignments at other Capital offices around the world, but also global job placements after participants graduate. We are often able to obtain work visas for applicants to address our business needs during - and on completion - of the program.

FUTURE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
The variety of positions associates hold after TAP reflects not only the breadth of opportunities at Capital for TAP associates, but also the diversity of interests of the program’s participants. While there is no guaranteed placement at the end of the program, based on an associate’s performance during TAP, we work with them to identify potential positions at Capital that may suit their interests and skills. TAP "graduates" work in areas as varied as marketing and client services, investment research, mutual fund wholesaling, portfolio management, shareholder services, human resources, fund administration and compliance, and economics research.

IS TAP FOR YOU?
TAP is a small and selective program. We typically accept six candidates each year. There is no single "ideal" background for candidates. In fact, we are open to all academic disciplines.
