南南学院workshop:Poverty，Vulnerability and Common Prosperity : International Lessons

Studies of development – defined here as progress in wellbeing measured in economic, societal and ecological terms – are interdisciplinary by nature and require continued exchange of experiences and insights from around the world.The Global Development Workshop offers a platform for speakers to share their insights from practice and research finding without prejudice to a particular theoretical conviction. Moving forward, the central government has instituted the long-term goal of common prosperity. When we consider poverty in broader terms as well as vulnerability to falling back to poverty, there is still much room for policy action for promoting common prosperity. This session will discuss the relevance of China's experience for other countries and what China can learn from others.
