Job Responsibilities:

Full time Research Assistant position in CEIBS with a title of research associate or research fellow, depending on qualification. The main responsibility is to work with Professor Neng Liang of CEIBS on his research programs (literature review, data analyses, interview executives, developing MBA teaching cases, on the topic of CEO succession in China).

Responsibility also include assisting prof. Liang in his teaching and his role as president-elect of IACMR (International Association of Chinese Management Research) and Director of CEIBS Case Center. 

Qualification: 

1) Recent Ph.D/ABD or MA in management (or economics, sociology, or psychology) from Chinese universities, knowledge in the area of top management team (upper echelon perspective) research preferred. Experience in narrative research a plus but not required. Candidate should have already have research publication in quality academic journals.

2) Intrinsically interested in research. Capable of executing research projects with little supervision.

3) Excellent writing skills in both English and Chinese.


Position is ideal for those who have just finished a Ph.D. and are interested in doing innovative and top quality research before starting a faculty career in business school. Initial contract will be one year. Renewal possibility exists if proven capable of research.
