11月18日,以西人马董事长聂泳忠博士(北大国发院EMBA15级)代表的厦门大学项目——“西人马: 中国MEMS芯片行业领军者”斩获了第六届中国国际“互联网+”大学生创新创业大赛总决赛亚军并荣获金奖!在国内外117个国家和地区,4186所学校、631万人参赛项目中脱颖而出!
第六届中国国际“互联网+”大学生创新创业大赛总决赛在华南理工大学举行,683个项目从147万个国内外参赛项目中脱颖而出,入围总决赛。经过高教主赛道金奖争夺赛、“青年红色筑梦之旅”赛道金奖争夺赛、三强争夺赛、职教赛道金奖争夺赛、冠军争夺赛的层层角逐,共决出冠军1个、亚军2个、季军3个、金奖143个。
此次大赛旨在促进创新驱动创业,创业引领就业,聂泳忠博士将教育成果进行了转化与应用,用所学知识在芯片领域开发出了众多产品及解决方案。
现任中共十九届中央政治局委员、国务院副总理、党组成员孙春兰全程参与此次大赛决赛现场。她强调,要深入学习贯彻党的十九届五中全会精神和习近平总书记关于教育的重要论述,深化创新创业教育改革,建设高质量教育体系,培养德智体美劳全面发展的社会主义建设者和接班人,更好服务高质量发展和现代化建设。

西人马立足于感知与人工智能的核心技术,包括先进材料技术、先进芯片技术、先进传感器技术及人工智能算法技术等领域,并通过持续、大幅度的投入,每年以几百项专利的速度快速递增。
如此快速的发展,离不开聂泳忠博士长期从事芯片和传感器产品的研发设计积累。聂博士精于各种振动和冲击类加速度,速度传感器、压力传感器、位移传感器、IMU、激光雷达、量子传感器及以上各类传感器的测试校准系统的研发,率先在国际上提出利用多层复合高温层状材料通过热曲线耦合补偿温漂的理论,从而使得高温传感器温漂从±18%,实现了±1.5%以内。

2020年新冠疫情爆发后,市场对测温计需求出现了爆发,国内能够生产测温计中的核心原件——红外测温传感器的公司屈指可数,尽快研发出红外热电堆传感器的这一重担便落在了西人马董事长聂泳忠博士肩上。由于芯片研发流程复杂,工艺更是难点中的难点,为了攻克难关,聂博士带着团队夜以继日地研发,经过几十次掩模版的修改优化,团队仅仅用8天便突破了研发瓶颈,20天成功量产。产品量产交付后,经过国内几家知名厂商测试,其精度、响应率、探测率均属国内一流水平,验证了西人马卓越的产品性能和强劲的科研实力。

On November 18, Dr. Bill Nie, chairman of FATRI, on behalf of Xiamen University's project "FATRI: China's Leading MEMS chip team", won the second place in the 2020 International Internet Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. FATRI team performed excellent and made such a good result in 117 countries and regions at home and abroad, 4,186 schools and 6.31 million people!
The Sixth International Internet Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held at South China University of Technology. 683 projects talent show themselves from 1 million 470 thousand domestic and foreign competitions. Through the competition for the gold medal in the main track of higher education, the gold medal competition of "Youth Red Dream building Tour", the competition of three strong teams, the gold medal competition of vocational education track, and the championship competition, a total of 1 champion, 2 runner up, 3 second runner up and 143 gold prizes were determined.
The competition aims to promote innovation driven entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship leading employment, as a graduate of the school of Xiamen University, Dr. Bill Nie has transformed and applied the educational achievements and developed many products and solutions in the chip field with his knowledge.

After Covid-19 outbreak in 2020, there has been an explosion of demand for thermometers. A handful sensor company have the ability of research the thermometer. Due to the complexity of chip research and development process, the difficulty in the process is more difficult. In order to overcomethe difficulties, Dr. Bill Nie engaged in the R&D day and night with FATRI team. Finally, FATRI team had broken the development bottleneck. After the mass production and delivery of the product, the chip had been tested by several well-known domestic manufacturers, and its precision, response rate and detection rate are all first-class in China, which has verified the excellent product performance and the strong scientific research strength of the team.

In addition to chip research and development, FATRI aims at two markets, and conducts research on edge computing and cloud platform. "One is the localization of the stock market, and the other is the new application of the incremental market." Dr. Bill Nie hopes to solve the chip shortage crisis in China and make contributions to the global chip industry through some disruptive innovations.
Winning this competition is only a starting point for FATRI. In the future, FATRI will adhere to the chip as the core, continuously consolidate the integrated solution of "end-edge-carrier-cloud-application", and continue to provide high-reliability and high-performance products and services for civil aviation, offshore ships, petroleum and petro chemical, wind power generation, industrial intelligence, rail transit, health care and other fields.
