Caterpillar is seeking recent graduate engineers and industrial marketing specialists with some working experience to participate in a 24-month Marketing Training Program.
You will receive extensive training, coaching, and hands-on learning via a rotation program through various marketing areas. There will be an emphasis on developing skills and experience in marketing including product application, market segment analysis, Customer Relationship Management, dealer development, product support system design, merchandising program development, communications, and related disciplines.
At the successful completion of the development program, you will be placed as a field based Marketing Representative in Caterpillar’s Business-to-Business based distribution system. This consultancy role will provide support, advice and assistance to Caterpillar dealers on marketing, technical sales, sales engineering and product support development.
Depending on performance, the Marketing Representative role can lead to larger marketing leadership opportunities both in China and worldwide.
To be successful in this position you will ideally hold an engineering or Marketing related degree with no more than 2 years work experience. You will have excellent communication and analysis skills with a strong customer focus. You will also be open to challenging and new experiences with the ability to travel and temporarily relocate.
