Job Post – Research AssistantJob description:
Support China Center’s various research projects including business cycle, consumer markets, labor and talent issues, and financial stability entry-level economics.
Collect & Analyze economic and financial data under the guidance of other researchers.
Create spreadsheets, charts and PowerPoint slides summarizing results of research.
Conduct internet research on targeted industries and summarize results.
Qualification Requirements:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics
Broad interests in economics
Strong data analysis skills (including Excel and use of statistical software – SAS, Eviews, STATA, etc)
Good English language ability and effective communication skills
Native Chinese
Intern experience in a collaborative research environment preferred (e.g. consulting market research, think tank, or government agency)
