LI Junfeng serves as a research professor at National Centre for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation (NCSC). He used to serve as Director General of NCSC and Vice President of Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association. He is a member of China’s National Energy Advisory Council, Expert-Committee of National High-tech Program, and Academic Committee of Ministry of Ecology and Environment. He is also the special advisor of China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development, Executive Director of China Energy Research Society and President of Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association. 
Mr. LI has dedicated his 30-year career life to energy economy and energy environment studies. He was in charge of the structure and drafting of China’s Renewable Energy Law and China’s Medium and Long-Term Development Plan for Renewable Energy Development. In January 2017, he won the Ninth Annual Zayed Future Energy Prize Lifetime Achievement Award.
